Protein Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until well combined and slightly frothy.
  • Add the softened butter to the bowl and mix until creamy and fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add the vanilla protein powder, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl. Mix until all the ingredients are combined and a dough forms.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  • Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set. The cookies will be soft when taken out of the oven but will firm up as they cool.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
