Paleo Midnight Brownies

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup stevia in the raw (can use coconut sugar)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325F
  • In a medium bowl, mix your eggs, coconut oil, and vanilla extract together
  • Then add in your sugars (stevia & maple syrup). Combine
  • Measure your flour and cocoa powder and add on top of your almond flour
  • Pour your flour and baking powder in and mix well. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon as you mix
  • Once combined, slowly add in your cocoa powder until completely mixed in.
  • Add your semi-sweet chocolate to the mixture and stir in
  • Place the spread in a parchment-lined 8x8 pan. It may be easier to smooth out with a butter knife or something metal. (the consistency should be on the thick side)
  • Once spread evenly in the pan, add more chocolate morsels to the top
  • Bake for 20 minutes
