Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies to the batter.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan.
