Cinnamon Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

  • 8 count crescent rolls
  • 2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp softened unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup white sugar/ brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  • Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Prepare the Filling: In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, white sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Roll Out the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  • Make Cinnamon Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl add your sugar and cinnamon together. Mix well.
  • Add the Filling: Spread a generous layer of butter onto each crescent roll triangle. Then sprinkle your cinnamon sugar mixture until it covers the whole surface.
  • Roll Up: Starting from the wide end, roll each crescent roll triangle into a crescent shape, enclosing the filling inside.
  • Bake: Place the rolled crescent rolls onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Prepare the Glaze: While the crescent rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl to make the glaze.
  • Drizzle with Glaze: Once the crescent rolls are done baking and still warm, drizzle the glaze over the top using a spoon or a piping bag.
