Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp brow sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes of mixing with a hand mixer or stand mixer. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the dough, as this can lead to tough cookies. Fold in the chocolate chips and you're ready to move onto the next step!
  • Preheat your air fryer to 300F for 2-3 minutes. Scoop the dough into balls using a cookie scoop and place them on a greased air fryer tray or parchment paper. Flatten the cookies slightly with your fingers or the back of a spoon, and place the tray in the preheated air fryer.
  • Bake the cookies for 15 minutes, rotating the tray after 10 minutes to ensure even cooking. Once done, remove the tray from the air fryer and let the cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
