Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned powdered sugar donut!? Well, I present these Vegan Powdered Sugar Donuts that are sugar-free and beyond fluffy. For all you donut lovers out there, stop what you are doing and make this recipe!
Ingredients for Vegan Powdered Sugar Donuts
- vegan butter
- almond milk
- sugar (monk fruit from Lakanto) –> This is my absolute favorite sweetener lately. It offers the same amazing taste as regular sugar with literally zero unhealthy ingredients. I also love using Lakanto’s powdered sugar substitute as well as their golden sweetener.
- vanilla extract
- baking soda
- baking powder
- all-purpose flour
What if I Don’t Have a Donut Pan?
First, I highly recommend this donut pan. I find it so easy to get the donuts out. It helps to place it on a baking tray because it can be a bit flimsy.
If you don’t have a donut pan, you can totally turn these into muffins. Simply line a muffin tray with liners and follow the directions below. Baking times may vary if you make the muffin version!
How do I store these Vegan Powdered Sugar Donuts?
I like to store them in an air-sealed container on the counter! You can also store them in the fridge, however, that isn’t my first choice. It can dry them out a bit more when you do this.
