I was actually not even going to share this recipe because my Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake did not grow as much as I wanted it to. BUT, I took a bite, and it immediately changed the game.
The fudge factor was a 10, so I said to heck with it! Everyone deserves to make their own little chocolate mug cake no matter how small!
I would say this is perfect as a snack or dessert. It’s just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you are having this as a dessert, I HIGHLY recommend you add some ice cram on top! #DROOL I don’t think there is a better combo personally. Nonetheless, more chocolate morsels will suffice!
Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake Ingredients:
- almond flour (Bob’s Red Mill is my fave)
- coconut flour (Bob’s Red Mill is my got to)
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- Lakanto monk fruit sweetener
- baking powder
- almond milk
- coconut oil
- vanilla extract
- chocolate chips (Lilys sugar-free morsels or Enjoy life dairy free morsels)
This recipe is super simple and only takes a few minutes to make in total! Also if you are in a rush, this is another great option! All you need is a minute in the microwave and you are golden!
How to Make This Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake
This mug cake is ready to enjoy in a few minutes! That’s it!! Dessert will be ready sooner than you thought!
Prep your mug
First get a small ramekin or mug and spray with non stick spray!
Mix your ingredients
Add all your ingredients in your mug and whisk together!
Microwave!
Microwave your Vegan Chocolate Chip Mug Cake for 60 seconds. If you don’t want it as fudgy do another 30 seconds!
Bake and enjoy!! You can top with whatever you want!!

Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake [GF, Low Carb & Low Sugar]
Ingredients
- 1.5 tbsp almond flour
- 1 tbsp coconut flour
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp Lakanto monk fruit
- 1/2 tsp Lakanto monk fruit
- 3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp vanill aextract
- all of the chocolat emorsels can use sugar free morsels or dairy-free
Instructions
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder to a mug. Stir or whisk to combine
- Add your milk and oil and vanilla in the mug! Mix well with a spoon. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top
- Cook in microwave for 1 minute
- Serve ASAP
