Reindeer Bark Ingredients
You only need a few ingredients for this one! It is super easy to make and you don’t even need to turn on the oven!
- chocolate: melting chocolate, chocolate chips, or chocolate melts wil work
- pretzels
- candy eyes
- red m&ms
How to Make Reindeer Bark
- Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or a microwave safe bowl. If using the microwave, melt in 15 to 30 second intervals. Make sure to stir so the chocolate doesn’t burn. If using the double boiler, just stir the chocolate until creamy.
- Spread the melted chocolate out into a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
- Add your eyes and nose to the chocolate before it cools. Press two pretzel pieces on top for thr antlers.
- Sprinkle the chocolate with sprinkles if you want and stick the tray in the fridge. Allow the chocolate to harden completely before breaking into “bark” pieces.
Tips for Making Reindeer Bark
- If you are using chocolate chips, add 2 tsps of coconut oil to the melted chocolate. This helps smooth out the melted chocolate and makes it easier to work with!
- Pour your melted chocolate onto a parchment lined baking sheet so you can easily spread it.
- Make sure your chocolate is completely hardened before trying to break it.
