These Paleo Cake Brownies are decadent, fudgy, and packed with all of the chocolate you need! They are gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, and low carb.

Paleo-Cake-Brownies

These Paleo Cake Brownies are dairy-free & paleo-friendly. I recommend using chocolate chips that are vegan and dairy-free as well!

Ingredients you Need:

  • eggs
  • melted butter (can use vegan butter)
  • cashew butter
  • vanilla extract
  • coconut sugar I use THIS brand, but you can use keto options
  • almond flour
  • cocoa powder
  • baking soda
  • apple cider vinegar (to activate the baking soda)
  • chocolate chips

Mix it Up

Cashew. butter is always my go-to nut butter when baking because it has the least amount of flavor transfer. However, you can use whatever nut butter you prefer for these brownies. Either way it will be delish !

Modifying this recipe is super easy.

For a low-carb diet make sure you use sugar-free sugar that won’t spike your blood sugar levels. My favorite keto-friendly sweetener is Lakanto or Miss Jones Bakes. You can also use a low sugar dark chocolatte. Lily’s have some awesome ones to choose f rom!

How to store these Brownies

Store them in an airtight container for up to a week. You can also freeze them for longer storage time.

Paleo Cake Brownies

Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1 3/4 cup super fine almond flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a square baking pan you’re using with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl add the melted coconut oil, nut or seed butter of choice & sweetener of choice & mix until well combined.
  • Melt your chocolate chips in the microwave and add to your bowl
  • Then add in the vanilla, almond flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda & apple cider vinegar.
  • Add in your eggs
  • Spread your batter in the pan
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes
