I have been really vibing with vegan desserts lately and these Maple Butter Sugar Cookies are no exception! They only require 6 simple ingredients and will be a fam favorite! They were in my household!
The Best Maple Butter Sugar Cookies
These cookies are ones to make all year round! These are so fluffy and moist! I brought them over to my parents house and my sister basically ate almost the whole batch! LOL!
So, BEWARE. These are ADDICTING!
Here’s a few reasons why you need to make these:
Low sugar/ sugar-free – I used Truvia’s light brown sugar which can keep the sugar content low or not there at all. You have the option to use keto sugar or just regular sugar.
6 Ingredients – 6 ingredients are all you need to whip up a batch of these cookies
Soft on the Inside: these come out soft and perfect on the inside!
Dairy Free/ Vegan: this recipe does not include dairy and is totally egg free!
What You Need:
- flax egg
- organic light brown sugar
- vegan butter
- vanilla extract
- baking soda
- all-purpose flour
- maple syrup (for frosting) – I use this one
- powdered sugar – I use this one
How to Make the Frosting
The frosting is such a fun part of this recipe, but you can 100% skip it!
Beat your butter until it is fluffy. My favorite vegan butter is Country Crock! I find it all the time at my local Walmart.
Next, add in your powdered sugar. If you want you can easily swap this with sugar-free sugar. My go-to is here on Amazon!
When it is all combined, it is time to frost your cookies! Don’t forget to top them off with a dash of cinnamon!
