I don’t think I could be more obsessed with a recipe than I am with this Keto Devil’s Food Cake Loaf. I made this. beauty one day when I was craving chocolate and after I kept seeing chocolate loaves all over Instagram. I. figured it was my time to shine now!
So what exactly is a devil’s food cake loaf? I like to think of this recipe as a dense devil’s food cake and fudgy brownies, all baked in a banana bread loaf pan. It almost has a lava cake type of vibe, because the texture is just pure bliss.
I was so excited at how this came I forced all my family members to give it a try. I stared at them excitedly and held my breath like a little kid waiting for their reactions. As expected (wink), they were super pleased by the cake.
The first thing my mom said was, ” wow this tastes like Devil’s Food Cake!!”. BOOM. My life was complete. GOAL ACHIEVED. LIFE MADE! #SUCCESS.

Keto Devil’s Food Cake Loaf Ingredients
- egg
- unsweetened almond milk
- butter
- vanilla extract
- coconut flour
- almond flour
- low carb sweetener: I used Windrose
- baking powder
- baking soda
- salt
- cream cheese
Storage
Can I freeze this?
I haven’t tried freezing it, but I kept mind in the fridge for almost 2 weeks and it still tasted good! Make sure it is completely cooled off before you decided to wrap it up in place in a container.
P.S. This loaf will be easier to store if there is no frosting on top!

Keto Devil’s Food Cake Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup butter 1 stick
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup coconut. flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 3/4 cup Windrose can use other low carb sweetener
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1 1/3 fat packet cream cheeese(8oz)
- 3 tbsp Wondrose sweetener
- 1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp unsweetened almond milk adding more almond milk makes the frosting thinner
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the melted vegan butter, sugar, vanilla, almond milk, cocoa, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Then, mix in the flour.
- Bake on 375 for about 40-50 minutes (eevry oven is diffeent) . While baking, use a whisk or hand mixer to mix your frosting ingredients!
- Once the loaf is done, allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes and then spread the frosting over it. Enjoy!
