Healthy Dessert Recipe: Cookie Dough Bites

Want an easy, 4 ingredients healthy dessert recipe or maybe just a healthy cookie dough snack?  Look no further than these delicious grain-free cookie dough bites.  Seriously, healthy never tasted so good!  I personally have an OBSESSION for cookie dough, so there’s never too many types of cookie dough I can get my hands on!

Oh, and did I mention they are dairy-free, grain/gluten-free, and there are a few variations you can make! Read on to learn more my friends!! Healthy-Cookie-Dough-Balls

If you don’t know me by now, let me just tell you: I love no bake recipes.  They are so simple and quick!! Plus, you don’t even have turn on the oven! Likeeeeeee what could be better, am I right??

Seriously, just 4 ingredients in this!! Nut butter of choice, sticky sweetener, protein powder, and chocolate morsels! Luckily for you, this recipe’s ingredients can be swapped for many different things.

When it comes to chocolate, I’m a little bit of a snob (sorry not sorry). I wanted to make sure I had enough chocolate in these little bites so I added one of my FAVE brands: Enjoy Life.  Honestly, go check them out on Amazon. I love the big chunks more than anything.  It makes everything TEN times better, but I may just be biased…

Healthy-Cookie-Dough-Balls

For the nut butter, you can use whatever you want! I personally love me some peanut butter.  You can use almond butter, sun butter, or whatever else you want.

Next, for your sweetener, I used agave. You can substitute for honey or maple syrup.  However, maple might not be sticky or thick enough so proceed with caution. As for the powder, you can add your favorite protein powder or use coconut flour instead.  This time I used Bob’s Red Mill Flour

As for the sticky sweetener, I used Wholesome Organic Blue Agave. You can find yours here on Thrive Market or here on Amazon.

Directions:

Now that you have the ingredients down, making it is pretty simple.  Add your agave to a bowl and peanut butter in a medium-sized bowl. Then throw in your protein powder/ coconut flour.

Next, add in the chocolate chips.  You might have to mush together with your hands to get the chocolate chips in there.

Roll into 1-2 inch balls and place on a parchment sheet.

Refrigerate for 15-25 minutes! ENJOYYYY this healthy dessrt recipe!! 😉

  • 1/4 cup agave you can use honey/ maple syrup
  • 2/3 cup Nut butter I used peanut butter since it's my favorite! You can use sun butter or almond butter
  • 1/2 cup Coconut flour/ protein powder
  • 1/3 cup Enjoy Life Chocolate

Instructions
  1. In a medium-sized bowl mix your nut butter and agave together.
  2. Add in the flour/ protein until combined
  3. Next, add in the chocolate chips. You might have to mush them together with your hands to get the chocolate chips in there.
