FAQs
1. Can I use regular flour instead of gluten-free flour?
Absolutely! If you don’t need these to be gluten-free, feel free to swap the gluten-free flour with regular all-purpose flour.
2. Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes, these brownies store beautifully! You can make them a day or two ahead and keep them in an airtight container. They’ll stay fudgy and delicious for up to 3 days at room temperature.
3. Can I add extra toppings?
Yes, of course! Get creative with the toppings—throw in Halloween M&Ms, add candy corn, or even drizzle some white chocolate spider webs on top!
4. Can I use a different type of cookie?
Definitely! While the Pillsbury Halloween Sugar Cookies are super festive, you can switch them out for any seasonal cookie or even use chocolate chip cookies for a fun twist.
5. How do I know when the brownies are done?
The edges should be set, and a toothpick inserted into the center should come out with a few moist crumbs—not entirely clean. Remember, you don’t want to overbake them! I personally like mine a little underdone and gooey in the center.
Storage Tips
- Room Temperature: Store your Halloween Pillsbury Brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
