These Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies are dairy free, crisp on the outside and tender in the center. They are almost like the gluten-free version of the Toll House cookies.
I LOVE baking cookies so trying a GF & DF variation of a classic chocolate chip was a no brainer. They are husband approved and such a good dessert to bring to your friends house or make for the fam!
Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients
- Gluten-free all-purpose flour: use a 1:1 all-purpose gluten-free flour made for baking – one of my favorites is Cup 4 Cup
- Unsalted butter: these truly take the cookies to the next level
- Granulated sugar & brown sugar: I recommend mixing light brown sugar with regular granulated sugar.
- Egg: gives the cookies a little fluff
- Vanilla Ehttps://amzn.to/3JkK34hxtract: Always a must in my cookies!
- Chocolate Chips: Use your favorite brand
How to Freeze Cookie Dough
Drop a cookie scoop into the parchment lined cookie sheet. They cannot be touching. Place the cookie sheet in the freezer for an hour. Once frozen, store your cookie balls in a freezer bag or container in the freezer for up to two months/
To bake your frozen cookies, preheat your oven to 350F. Place frozen cookies on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake about 13 minutes until just golden brown. Place the baking pan on a wire rack to cool for 5 minutes and transfer cookies to the wire rack.
