What are Oreo Brownies?
If you know me, it is that I am a huge brownie girl! I love me a good fudgy, gooey brownie. Oreo brownies are what they sound like. Oreos + brownies. The brownies are decadent, chocolatey and the texture is the perfect blend between fudgy and cake! Throw in some crushed Oreo cookies and you have a delicious dessert!
Fudgy Oreo Brownies Ingredients
Tips for the Best Oreo Brownies
- Do Not Overmix: When adding the dry ingredients, fold them in gently until just combined. Overmixing can lead to tough brownies.
- Check Doneness: Since ovens vary, start checking the brownies at the 25-minute mark. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out with a few moist crumbs, not completely clean.
- Cool Completely: Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting. This helps them set and makes cutting easier.
- Extra Oreos on Top: For an extra touch, press a few additional Oreo pieces on top of the batter before baking.
How to Store These Brownies
To keep your Fudgy Oreo Brownies fresh and delicious, follow these storage tips:
- Room Temperature: Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. This method will keep them moist and fudgy.
- Refrigeration: If you prefer a slightly firmer brownie, store them in the refrigerator in an airtight container. They will last up to a week.
- Freezing: For longer storage, freeze the brownies. Wrap each brownie individually in plastic wrap, then place them in a freezer-safe bag. They can be frozen for up to 3 months. To enjoy, thaw at room temperature or warm them in the microwave for a few seconds.
