Easy Pillsbury Donuts
Donuts are such a guilty pleasure of mine. I wanted something super quick without the mess, which is why I am so excited to share these super easy Pilsbury donuts! They are made with just 3 ingredients and can be thrown together in under 20 minutes! That’s like… insane!
Donuts Ingredients
These donuts are insanely delicious and SUPER EASY to make with minimal prep time. No need to roll out the dough and wait for it to rise. All you need are these ingredients and a donut pan!
Here’s your list:
- Pillsbury Biscuits: I used Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
- Butter: You will need to dip your donuts from the oven into the melted butter. You can use unsalted or salted butter. Adding a pinch of salt can help cut some of the sweetness.
- Granulated Sugar: These donuts taste best with a cinnamon sugar finis. You will roll your donuts in your sugar after the butter
- Ground Cinnamon: Cinnamon is a must for this recipe! It creates the perfect finish to this donut recipe!
Tips for Making Easy Pillsbury Donuts
These donuts are pretty straightforward to make, but I have a few tips to share.
Use a donut pan: a donut pan is what will form your biscuits into the PERFECT donut shape. You would swear they were the real deal
Don’t underbake them: You don’t want them to dry out or be heavy and doughy.
Grease your donut pan: You do not want your donut to stick to the pan. Make sure you spray the pan with cooking spray before placing it in the oven
Eat them warm: These bad boys taste the BEST fresh from the oven. If you are saving it for the next day, you can reheat them in the oven quickly
Happy Baking!

I can’t wait to try this. My grandmother (in Mississippi) used to make donuts like this, but she’d fry them in oil. They were delicious, but as an adult, I couldn’t bring myself to simply deep fry the dough. Your baked version looks scrumptious!
I can’t wait for you to try them!!! 😀
