Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread is a crazy delicious recipe that you’ll want to make over and over again. It’s super simple to put together, only requires one bowl, and the smell when it comes out of the oven will fill the whole house. This has become my go-to recipe when I’m asked to bring something to a party or when I’m having friends over. Trust me, it will be a crowd favorite for sure!!
This super easy monkey bread is very rich and sweet, which can basically make it a dessert. I love to eat it right out of the oven and is a hit for special occasions! I love making this for Christmas, birthdays, or other holidays.
Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread Ingredients
- Granulated sugar:
- Brown Sugar:
- Ground cinnamon: Add more of a warm flavor to your rolls
- Pillsbury cinnamon rolls: This is the main ingredient for this recipe!
- Melted butter:
- Maple Syrup: Add a bit more sweetness to your cinnamon roll monkey bread!
How to Make Cinnamon Monkey Bread
Layer biscuits in Pan
Start by making the cinnamon sugar mixture by combining sugars and cinnamon in a large plastic bag. Then, remove the cinnamon rolls from the package and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and place the pieces in the bag with the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Toss to coat well. Arrange the cinnamon roll pieces in the prepared pan.
In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar and maple syrup. Pour evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Remove from oven and drizzle with the frosting from the cinnamon roll packages. Serve warm.

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 can Pillsbury cinnamon rolls
- 1/8 cup butter, melted
- 1/8 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large zip-top bag, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and place the pieces in the bag with the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Toss to coat well. Arrange the cinnamon roll pieces in the prepared pan.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar and maple syrup. Pour evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
