Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding

Course: Breakfast, Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 pack refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Open the pack of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and bake as normal- minus the frosting. Allow the rolls to cool.
  • Cub the cinnamon rolls and place them in the baking dish, Drizzle the melted butter over the cinnamon rolls.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.Pour the mixture over the cinnamon rolls in the baking dish.
  • Press the cinnamon roll pieces down into the liquid mixture so that they are well soaked.
  • Bake the cinnamon roll bread pudding in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until it is set and golden brown on top.
  • Let the bread pudding cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • You can serve the bread pudding as is or with a drizzle of icing, whipped cream, or your favorite topping.

    Oh my god I made some cinnamon rolls and they turned out a little dry, This recipe made them even better, it was so good and soo easy

    I hate when people comment how great a recipe is, and go on with “I only changed x,x,x, and x…and added….”😬 but yeah, I used premade wrapped cinnamon rolls, and let them soak for an hour or so before cooking. I replaced half the sugar with brown sugar, and I also peeled and chopped an apple to add in. It was fabulous!! Thanks for the recipe, even if I adjusted slightly☺️
