Are you ready to experience the smallest, best tasting balls of your life?

I present you CHURRO PROTEIN BALLS

Churro-Protein-Balls

The best way to describe the taste of these little guys would be cookie dough churros, but a million times better for you. Why?

  • dairy-free
  • gluten-free
  • paleo
  • no-bake
  • low carb

I mean who doesn’t love churros and cookie dough right?

I can recall being dragged to Costco along with my siblings when we were younger. My mom would always take us grocery shopping. Luckily, Costco had some food, and we were allowed to get a churro and some frozen yogurt. My brothers would claim the churro most often and I would have my yogurt (I still dream about that frozen yogurt DROOL)

We all know how churros are pretty bad for you. Okay, a lot bad. So I started thinking… what if I could make them healthy somehow. I went with a simple method.

No-bake churro protein balls. Simple!!

Ingredients for Churro Protein Balls:

  • Almond flour (my favorite is Bob’s Red Mill)
  • Protein powder of choice (I used a caramel flavor, but vanilla is good!)
  • Nut butter (Cashew butter is a good choice for this)
  • Maple Syrup (I used Choc Zero’s to make it healthier)
  • Unsweetened almond milk
  • Collagen
  • Cinnamon
  • Coconut sugar

All you need is one bowl, a spatula or large spoon to stir, and a strong arm to get mixin!!

The best part is, you store these churro protein balls in the freezer so you can pop em cold!

How to Make These Protein Balls

Luckily for you, it’s pretty simple from here! You just have to just mix all of those ingredients in a small bowl, adding in the maple syrup plus nut butter, then working everything together until all of the ingredients are combined.

Roll your mixture into balls and then store in the fridge or freezer for a week.
