What Are Monster Cookies?

Monster Cookies are a playful and versatile cookie variety known for their vibrant appearance and mix of diverse add-ins. These cookies often feature a base of oats and peanut butter, and the “monster” element comes from the variety of mix-ins like M&M’s, chocolate chips, and nuts. Each bite is an adventure, combining chewiness, crunch, and a burst of flavors.

Christmas Monster Cookies Ingredients:

  • Unsalted Butter, Softened: Adds richness and moisture to the cookies.
  • Granulated Sugar: Sweetens the cookies and contributes to their texture.
  • Light Brown Sugar, Packed: Provides a deeper sweetness and adds moisture, contributing to a chewy texture. You can also use dark if you want
  • Eggs: Act as a binding agent and contribute to the structure of the cookies.
  • Vanilla Extract: Enhances the overall flavor profile of the cookies.
  • Old-Fashioned Oats: Add texture and a hearty, chewy element to the cookies.
  • All-Purpose Flour: The primary structure-building ingredient in the cookies.
  • Baking Powder: Contributes to the cookies’ rise and tenderness.
  • Baking Soda: Helps with the cookies’ leavening and browning.
  • Salt: Enhances the overall flavor, balancing the sweetness.
  • Creamy Peanut Butter: Adds a rich, nutty flavor and contributes to the cookies’ chewiness.
  • M&M’s: Introduce bursts of color and chocolatey goodness. Also adds a nice crunch !
  • Chocolate Chips: Provide additional chocolate flavor and texture.
