Now, I think it is time I introduce you to…

Chocolate Coconut Protein Balls

I LOVE making no-bake recipes. Not only will these snacks satisfy your sweet tooth, but they will also squash any hunger pains you may be feeling.

I simply adore no-bake bites, so I am super excited to share another on the go snack recipe! Chocolate Coconut Protein Balls!

I know what you may be thinking… ANOTHER ball recipe??

Let me just explain. This is a protein recipe I’ve been meaning to share on here for a while but just haven’t gotten around to it.

In my humble, unbiased opinion, these ball snacks are one of the best after dinner snacks I have here! So I want you to give them a try and see how they compare to my other “healthy bites” recipes.

Let’s dive into what’s in these goodies!

Ingredients to make Chocolate Coconut Protein Balls

  • almonds
  • pitted dates
  • water
  • unsweetened shredded coconut
  • coconut protein powder
  • chocolate protein powder
  • cocoa powder
  • mini chocolate morsels

Packed with two different protein powders and dates, these snacks will certainly not leave you in a protein/fiber deficit nor leave you feeling hungry.

This recipe can easily be made vegan with the substitution of vegan protein and cocoa powder. If you are living a raw lifestyle, you could even use the more fibrous cacao powder, (instead of cocoa powder) which comes from grinding unroasted cocoa beans.

The trick to making healthy PROTEIN BALLS

It’s simple! Gather up your ingredients and blend them in a food processor or blender. The last thing you need to do is roll your mixture all together with extra shredded coconut and dark chocolate morsels.

As you can see, this recipe is highly flexible, so have fun with it! Double it up! Triple it up! Cut it in half! This simple recipe makes it rather easy to experiment and create a delectable treat to your exact liking.

If you are not as creative, then feel free to just stick to the ingredients and direction I have listed below. I hope that you will enjoy making these delicious chocolate coconut protein bites as much as I did, and hopefully they will last you longer than they did me…heh heh.

Before we head into the recipe, I wanna leave you with a few other ball recipes you may want to hang onto! Snack meal prep all ready for ya! You’re welcome!
