These Brownie Batter Bars are inspired by my Protein Cookie Dough Bars. It is insanely addicting, healthy, and so easy to make! It is naturally sweetened with maple syrup and if you love chocolate, this recipe is for you! All you need is 5 essential ingredients, a bowl, and a spatula.
Ingredients Needed
- Almond butter: This is the base of your snack and provides protein.
- Maple syrup: Sweeten up your bars with a healthy sugar alternative.
- Protein powder: I used vanilla protein powder I had on hand, but you can use whatever flavor you love or have.
- Vanilla extract: Just a hint will go a long way!
- Cocoa powder: This gives the brownie batter bars its fudgy chocolate flavor.
- Chocolate chips: this will be melted for the top!

Brownie Batter Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup protein powder
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together almond butter, cocoa powder, protein powder, maple syrup and vanilla until smooth.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and add cookie dough on top to spread across and form to make the bars.
- Add the bars to freezer for about 5 to 10 minutes
- While bark chills, melt the chocolate chips in microwave
- Pour melted chocolate across the brownie bars and set in the fridge for an hour!
