Tips for the Best Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tart Bars
- Room Temperature Ingredients: Make sure your butter and egg are at room temperature for easier mixing and a smoother batter.
- Layering: Spread the cake layer evenly to ensure a consistent base. When adding the top layer, gently spread it over the cinnamon-sugar filling to avoid mixing the layers.
- Cinnamon-Sugar Filling: Be generous with the filling! It’s the star of the show and gives these bars their signature flavor.
- Don't Overbake: Keep an eye on the baking time. Overbaking can result in dry bars. The edges should be golden brown, and the center should be set but still slightly soft.
- Cooling: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting. This helps them set and makes slicing easier.
