Baking Tips
Spray/ Line Pan: You should always spray you baking pan with cooking spray before pouring your batter into the pan. However, you can use parchment paper, which is what I prefer!
Bake Time & Pan Size: this recipe calls for an 8-inch x 8-inch pan, but if you use a bigger one you will need to adjust the baking time!
Let Cool: I always have a hard time with this, but I am getting so much better!! The #1 rule for baked goods is to always let them cool completely before slicing! There have been so many times I cut into a dessert only to have it crumble before my eyes.

These BirthdayCake Blondies just have your regular sprinkles in them, but you can add in a bunch of different mix-ins that you love and make them even better:
- white chocolate morsels
- Toffee chips! Then you’ll have a caramel-like flavor to the blondies.
- Other chocolate chips
- Marshmallows! These take this dessert to the next level.
How to Know When Birthday Cake Blondies are Done:
You know your blondies are ready when the edges turn golden brown.
The toothpick test: Stick a toothpick in your blondies and if it comes out clean that means it is done. However, these will be a little more on the undercooked side so a tiny bit will come out on. the toothpick. That is okay. it settles more the longer it sits.

How do I store blondies?
Store blondies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for best results. They should last up to 5 days. You can also store them in a cool, dark place on your countertop.
Can I freeze blondies?
Blondies are a great dessert to freeze! Place your sliced blondies on a baking sheet and then place in the freezer. Freeze for 30 minutes before transferring into a freezer-safe, gallon-size bag. Remove as much air as possible and seal. Freeze for up to 3 months.
