Tips for the Best Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

This easy banana recipe is perfect for beginners becausee it is beyond easy to make! Here are some tips for perfect banana cookies every single time.

  • Use an overripe banana: The riper the banana the better. Using a very ripe, brown banana will enhance the banana flavor in your cookies and add natural sweetness, keeping them perfectly moist and flavorful.
  • Under bake them: the secret to baking most cookies. Cookies will continue to bake as they cool, so it is okay if they are a bit raw in the middle when you take them out of the oven. They will have the perfect texture and gooey center.
  • Don't over mix the batter: Mix the batter until no streaks of flour remain. Over mixing can make for a dry and bread-like cookie.
