I’m sure y’all have tried cinnamon donuts before. I LOVE anything cinnamon. Well these are pretty darn close to that, plus they are 10x better for you than a fried donut!! Of course they are topped with more cinnamon and sugar, so there’s no way you can say no to this!
Baked Cinnamon Sugar Donuts Ingredients
- eggs
- vanilla extract
- coconut sugar
- almond milk
- cashew butter
- almond flour
- coconut flour
- cinnamon
- baking powder
- baking soda
If you don’t want to you can skip the cinnamon toppings and get right to eating! These donuts taste THE BEST when they are served warm from the oven.
I may be biased since I love me some cinnamon, but the topping truly makes these baked cinnamon sugar donuts top notch 👌🏻 To make it even better, it is super easy to make!
All you need is cinnamon, coconut sugar, and coconut oil. ( You can use melted butter if you want). Once the donuts have cooled a bit, get a small bowl and mmix your cinnamon and sugar together. In a separate bowl have your melted coconut oil or butter ready.
I used a brush to put the oil on so the donuts did not get saturated. Then place the donut face down in your cinnamon, sugar mixture, and turn until the top is fully coated.

- Feel free to double or triple any recipe here on the Clean Eater
- Option to swap out any liquid you prefer
- Almond butter works just as well (I just prefer cashew butter when baking because it is a neutral flavor and never overpowers anything)
- Add more protein to your donuts with just a scoop or half a scoop of your favorite protein powder
- Donuts will stay fresh on the counter for up to 2 days (needs to stay in a cool location and seeled tightly)

Baked Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/3 cup coconnut sugar
- 1 tbsp cashew butter
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
Toppings
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp coocnut sugar
- coconut oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Spray a donut pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.
- Make the donuts: Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, in a medium bowl. Set aside. Whisk the egg, sugar, cashew butter, and milk together until smooth. Add the vanilla, whisking until fully combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Spoon the batter into the donut holes
- Bake for 9–10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Allow to cool and transfer to a wire rack
- Top the donuts: Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Dip the donuts in melted coconut oil, then dunk into the cinnamon sugar mixture coating all sides. Donuts are best served immediately. Leftovers keep well covered tightly at room temperature for up to 2 days.
