If you don’t want to you can skip the cinnamon toppings and get right to eating! These donuts taste THE BEST when they are served warm from the oven.

I may be biased since I love me some cinnamon, but the topping truly makes these baked cinnamon sugar donuts top notch 👌🏻 To make it even better, it is super easy to make!

All you need is cinnamon, coconut sugar, and coconut oil. ( You can use melted butter if you want). Once the donuts have cooled a bit, get a small bowl and mmix your cinnamon and sugar together. In a separate bowl have your melted coconut oil or butter ready.

I used a brush to put the oil on so the donuts did not get saturated. Then place the donut face down in your cinnamon, sugar mixture, and turn until the top is fully coated.

  • Almond butter works just as well (I just prefer cashew butter when baking because it is a neutral flavor and never overpowers anything)
  • Add more protein to your donuts with just a scoop or half a scoop of your favorite protein powder
  • Donuts will stay fresh on the counter for up to 2 days (needs to stay in a cool location and seeled tightly)
