Air Fryer Pizza Rolls Ingredients
These homemade rolls only call for a few simple ingredients! They are perfect if you want pizza with minimal effort!
- Pizza Dough: You will need about 1 pound of pizza dough. I used the Pillsbury pre-made pizza dough to make things easy. But you can use homemade pizza dough! Whatever floats your boat.
- Shredded Mozzarella: Wouldn’t be a pizza roll without some (or a lot) of cheese! You can use low fat or regular mozzarella cheese.
- Marinara Sauce: Grab your favorite sauce for these rolls and have fun!
- Grated Parmesan: I love added grated parm to my pizza, so I added it to these rolls! It really enhances the cheese flavor!
- Fresh Basil: Add some fresh basil for flavor.

Tips for Cooking Pizza Rolls in the Air Fryer
- Arrange pizza rolls in a single layer: Place the rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray. Avoid overcrowding, as it can lead to uneven cooking. If you have a large batch, cook them in multiple batches for the best outcome.
- Pinch the bottoms together lightly so no sauce or cheese leak through.
- Lightly oil or spray the pizza rolls: To achieve a crispy texture, you can lightly spray or brush the pizza rolls with a little cooking oil. This step is optional, but it can enhance the overall crispiness.
- Flip or shake halfway through: About halfway through the cooking time, open the air fryer and flip the rolls or give the basket a gentle shake. This helps promote even cooking on all sides.
- Let them cool slightly before serving: Once cooked, allow the pizza rolls to cool for a minute or two before serving. This helps prevent any burns and allows the filling to set a bit.

Air Fryer Pizza Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (I used Pillsbury dough)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 3/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan
- 1/4 cup basil
Instructions
- Place a piece of parchment paper down in the air fryer.
- Lightly flour your workspace and roll out pizza dough into an 8″ x 12″ rectangle.
- Evenly spread pizza sauce on top of the dough. Make sure to leave a 1-inch gap around the edges so it won't gush out when you make the rolls.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, parmesan, and basil on top.
- As you would cinnamon rolls, tightly roll the dough. Make it tight!
- Cut 10 – 12 1-inch rolls. Make sure the seam is facing down.
- Evenly space out your rolls in the air fryer. They should not touch. Cook in 2 batches if the air fryer is too small.
- Air fry at 320°F for 11 – 15 minutes, until the cheese, is melted and the dough is cooked through
