What I Love about Frozen S’mores

  • Easy. First of all, it is no bake and there is no hot kitchen to deal with!
  • Freezer-friendly: The best part is that you can make a batch of two and them keep them in the freezer all summer long!
  • Customizable: There are so many ways you can spice this up it different ingredients.

Frozen S’mores Ingredients

  • Graham Crackers: Divide and use for the bottom and the top of the squares.
  • Instant chocolate pudding: instead of a chocolate bar you will need instant pudding for this recipe!
  • Cream Cheese : this may sound strange, but trust me, you will need this in your recipe! When blended with the marshmallow cream it gives it a bit of extra body!
  • Marshmallow Creme: Can’t forget this! It is also known as Marshmallow fluff and it taste like marshmallows!
  • Cool Whip: Adding cool whip to the pudding mixture helps lighten it up fro a thick pudding to a lighter consistency. It also helps it from freezing too solid.
  • Whole milk: Using whole milk makes such a rick and thick pudding consistency

Success Tips:

  • Make sure to let the instant chocolate pudding mixture sit for a few minutes after whisking it with milk. This allows the pudding to thicken and ensures a creamy texture.
  • Thaw the cool whip according to package instructions. It should be soft and easy to fold into the chocolate pudding mixture.
  • Press the graham cracker halves gently into the layers to create a sturdy base and prevent them from shifting when serving.

Storage Tips:

  • Once the Frozen S’mores are fully frozen, you can cover the baking dish with a tight-fitting lid or wrap it tightly with aluminum foil to prevent freezer burn.
  • They can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Beyond that, the texture may begin to change.
  • When ready to serve, remove the baking dish from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to slightly soften before cutting into squares.
