These Oat Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy and gooey cookies filled with all of the chocolate chips! They are very similar to your classic chocolate chip cookie and are also nut free and gluten-free.

  • Light brown sugar: adds the perfect amount of sweetness! Make sure to pack this. You can use coconut sugar as well
  • Granulated sugar: I love mixing these for great texture and flavor
  • Egg: helps bind the cookie dough together
  • Oat flour: made from ground oats. You can make your own!!

Oat Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the butter, light brown sugar and granulated sugar until well combined, about 3 minutes on medium speed. 
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined. 
  • Mix the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop about 2 tablespoons chocolate chip cookie dough onto the lined baking sheets. Place dough on the baking sheet about 3 inches apart. Top with more chocolate chips if you like.
  • Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes. The edges will be set and lightly golden brown.
