How to Make Air Fryer Donut Holes
- Step 1. Preheat air fryer to 360 degrees F. If your air fryer is like mine and oes not have a preheat option, turn the air fryer on 350F and let it run for 5 minutes.
- Step 2. Prepare the biscuit dough. Cut the donut holes from the biscuit with a round cookie cutter.
- Step 3. Coat the air fryer basket with olive oil. The cooking spray can damage your air fryer!
- Step 4. Place the donut holes in the air fryer. Cook for 5 minutes (tossing them halfway through the cook time). Make sure not to overlap the dough or they will not cook properly.
Tips and Tricks:
- Experiment with different coatings for your donut holes! You can try using different types of sugar, such as brown sugar or powdered sugar, or add in some cocoa powder for a chocolatey twist.
- If you don’t have an air fryer, you can still make these donut holes in the oven. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and bake the coated biscuit pieces for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- If you want to make your donut holes a little fancier, you can make a glaze to drizzle over them. Simply mix together some powdered sugar and milk until you reach your desired consistency, and drizzle it over the warm donut holes.
